Flamboyan Hotel

We could not book our usual place when we came back to Komodo so decided to book Flamboyan Hotel. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The swimming pool is small but very clean and there are loungers by it. The rooms are clean and the AC is good (after a whole week without it, it felt very good). There is a nice verandah in front of each room with a drying rack. As it is in a back street, it is quiet. One of the attractions for us was the very close proximity to WaterBoom, the fantastic waterpark (literally 5mn walk). There are lots of restaurants nearby ranging from expat places (pricey) to local places (a lot cheaper). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast at the place and it was simple but freshly cooked. We would definitely consider coming back next time we are in Bali.

Amazing guesthouse with great hosts and staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I got to learn Indonesian every day, the breakfast was personalised, very tasty and I got to enjoy it by the beautiful, clean pool every day. The garden around was gorgeous and well maintained. Because of the specific plant choice there weren't any mosquitos and annoying insects. The staff was able to arrange a scooter, laundry services and even helped with meds delivery while I was going through a sunstroke. The place has a family vibe, the area is quiet, free of roosters and construction noise. It's hidden from the main road and still it takes you 5-7minutes to get to the beach. The internet was fast and high quality- a rare thing in Bali. It's a great value for money and I'd recommend any family/ couple or solo travelers to stay there!

Good value. Great friendly staff. Breakfast option was perfect. Pool was relaxing. Icy cold aircon. Convenient location in Kuta for Waterbom and shops. Amazing value. Comfortable beds.
